Falcon Metal Acquires C&M Industrial Solutions

Charlotte, North Carolina, July 1, 2009 - Falcon Metal Corporation of Charlotte, NC, completed the purchase of the operating assets of C&M Industrial Solutions based in Louisville, KY on July 1, 2009.

C&M opened for business in April 2008 by Campbell Mattingly and Michael Collins. Both will remain with the organization and continue to operate at 11400 Decimal Drive, Suite 1006, Louisville, KY 40299 (telephone 502-266-6292). C&M will focus on developing vendor managed inventory solutions for manufacturers in Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio.

Falcon Metal Corporation was founded by Bruce Roberts in August 1979. The company began operating as an industrial fastener distributor in Charlotte, North Carolina. In August 1985, Falcon Metal moved to its present location at 10715 John Price Road in Charlotte. The company also operates 2 customer focused branch facilities in South Carolina. Roberts retired in January, 2008. Don Nowak succeeded him as President.

Falcon Metal Corporation is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary. Falcon serves the OEM market by providing cost effective Inventory Management Services for fasteners & other Class “C” production components.
